Introduction

It is an effort to bring to one and all, information about our national heroes who have laid their life for maintaining the integrity of our motherland India.

Patriotism - is, generally speaking, cultural attachment to one's homeland or devotion to one's country, although interpretations of the term vary with context, geography and political ideology. It is a set of concepts closely related to those of nationalism.

Buddha

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

The mind is everything. What you think you become.

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.

Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others.

There are only two mistakes along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Mahatma Gandhi

Where there is love there is life.

The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

You must never lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

Nobody can hurt me without my permission.

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from fear of punishment.
